My Priorities
Teaching, Learning, and Return to Rigor
APS has made real progress by investing in high-quality curricula, improving how it invites teacher input, and expanding accelerated academic options to more students. Now we need a sharper focus on what's actually moving the needle for all kids.
Limit Devices
Strong academic foundations are built through reading, writing, critical thinking, and rigorous instruction. Technology should support these fundamentals, not stand in the way of student progress.
Fiscal Stewardship and Accountability
APS manages more than $800 million in public funds each year, plus additional public dollars through capital improvement bonds. It's a serious responsibility that demands a focus on how we spend the money and whether it advances outcomes for our students.
